Join us for the adaptive golf event for veterans with disabilities. Every drive, chip, and putt proves the power of ability.
Adaptive Sports Connection is a 501 (c)(3), is dedicated to improving the physical and mental health for veterans and their families across Ohio. Through the power of sports, lives are being changed.
Columbus-area veterans with visual impairments and other disabilities will spend the day at Columbus Country Club as they prepare for the National Disabled Veterans Golf Clinic in Iowa this coming September. The national program, presented by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Disabled American Veterans, builds confidence and rehabilitation through adaptive golf. Operation Fairway is ASC's contribution to that mission, coordinated closely with the Columbus VA.
The event will host 36 golfers and many volunteers for a day centered on camaraderie, competition, and accessible golf. The event begins with check-in and a welcome, moves into hole assignments for a smooth start to an afternoon of golf, and concludes with a community lunch celebrating the veterans, volunteers, and partners who make Operation Fairway possible.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
9 am - 10 am: Arrival and Registration
9:40 am: Welcome remarks from the VA
10 am-1 pm: Golfing in session
1 pm- 3 pm: Lunch in the Clubhouse
