Where service meets swing
This is a free event for veterans!
Join us for the inaugural adaptive golf event for veterans with disabilities. Every drive, chip, and putt proves the power of ability.
Adaptive Sports Connection is a 501 (c)(3), is dedicated to improving the physical and mental health for veterans and their families across Ohio. Through the power of sports, lives are being changed.
Columbus area visually impaired and other disabled veterans will spend the day perfecting their skills as they prepare for the National Disabled Veterans Golf Clinic (NDVGC) in Iowa. The annual, week-long adaptive golf program in September is presented by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and promotes rehabilitation by instructing veterans with specific life-changing disabilities in adaptive golf.
ASC will field 36 golfers for Operation Fairway and rely on the assistance of almost 50 volunteers for a full day of camaraderie, competition, and accessible golf - complete with adaptive carts, on course coaching, and a gallery of supporters who believe in their boundless potential.
