"I thought my life was over until I started doing adaptive sports."
- Joe Gibson, Marine Veteran
Veterans with disabilities from across Ohio will converge at Snow Trails on February 7th and 8th for an exciting weekend of skiing and snowboarding.
ASC provides opportunities for veterans with disabilities to shred limitations. They sacrificed for our freedom - together, we are helping them regain their freedom on the slopes.
This is the biggest, most impactful winter event ASC holds. Join us on February 7th and 8th to give back to those who have given everything for us. Come celebrate freedom on the slopes with ASC.
We rebuild lives through sports by improving self-confidence, promoting independence, and uniting families through shared healthy activities. Veterans weekend is a culmination of these opportunities. Our programs help veterans lead happier, healthier, and more productive lives.
On Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8, veterans and their family members from near and far are convening at Snow Trails in Mansfield, OH to learn about adaptive equipment available, take lessons, and of course, enjoy a couple of hours of skiing.
Each day will have two sessions (9:30-11:30 and 1:00-3:30) with lunch around noon. They will work one-on-one with the participant to determine their individual equipment needs and goals. Then it is off to the slopes.
