Adaptive Sports Connection's Associate Board is a group of young professionals ages 21-35 years old who raise funds and awareness to support our work. Adaptive Sports Connection welcomes candidates of diverse backgrounds and identities. We recommend individual members make at least a year commitment to joining the Associate Board and take on the following roles and responsibilities:
1. Participate in quarterly meetings from 6-7:30pm at various Columbus corporate spaces.

2. Raise funds and corporate awareness for Adaptive Sports Connection from individuals or corporations. Specifically, participate in our annual crowdsource campaign where you solicit friends and family to support our work and aim to engage your company with Adaptive Sports Connection’s mission.
3. Attend and promote Adaptive Sports Connection fundraising events and programming events.

4. Volunteer to support our mission
- Each member is responsible for attending one recreational sporting activity annually
- Ongoing opportunities throughout the year
- Associate Board specific events
5. Raise awareness about Adaptive Sports Connection, the impact of our programming, the importance of providing children, veterans and adults with disabilities outdoor therapeutic recreation and education; follow Adaptive Sports Connection on social media (Facebook, Twitter / X, LinkedIn, and Instagram), “like” our posts, and when possible create posts to promote Adaptive Sports Connection.
6. Network and socialize with other Associate Board Members and other Adaptive Sports Connection stakeholders
- Attend Happy Hours and other social gatherings to build your Columbus professional network.
Overall, give or get $1,000 to support the organization each fiscal year
- Giving or getting $1 equals 1 credit, includes ticket sales to events
- Volunteering opportunities - 100 credits
- Attending quarterly meetings and networking events - 100 credits each
- $150 yearly membership fee annually - equals 150 credits
